About the Program

Revolutionizing Construction Training with Additive Construction including Structural Insulated Panels (SIP's) & Three-dimensional Construction Printing (3DCP)

Norseman Construction in partnership with Printerra and Build a Dream, is launching Toronto’s first 5-week, in-person training program devoted to Additive Construction.

  • Experienced tradespeople will gain hands-on skills with:
  • 3D Construction Printing (3DCP) – fast, precise concrete structures
  • Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) – high-performance, energy-efficient envelopes
  • Advanced modular wall systems – prefabricated components for flexible design
  • The robust hands-on and classroom curriculum also teaches you how to read blueprints created for additive construction through the Revit® software, and it includes Health & Safety training/certification needed for workers in the construction industry with a focus on 3DCP scope of work.

    What You’ll Learn

  • Operate 3D construction printers and other 3DCP equipment on construction sites
  • Work with and around 3D printed concrete walls
  • Install modular wall systems (SIP) on traditional and 3DCP construction sites
  • Integrate 3DCP and SIPs into hybrid builds that are rapid, strong, and sustainable

  • Free, full-time training over 5 weeks (Monday to Friday, in person)
  • Small cohorts (16–17 participants) for focused, hands-on instruction

  • Job placement support upon completion, helping graduates enter advanced
